Dear university officials of the Kingdom of Cambodia

We at HAYASHI CONSTRUCTION Co., Ltd. would like to start the following new project with our longtime friends in Cambodia. We will not be able to start specific procedures until next spring, but we would be very grateful for your cooperation.

Our company started as a small civil engineering firm in the western suburbs of Tokyo at the beginning of the 20th century(in 1906). Since then, we have continued to work hard while earning the trust of the local people, and today we are a general contractor, operating a real estate development business and property management business centered on projects for public works projects in the capital city of Tokyo. We are proud of the construction technology and safety-related corporate attitude we have developed over the years, and we are proud to say that we are one of the best in the world, especially in Asia.

Cambodia is a young country with a great future ahead of it. And the construction industry will definitely be a key industry in that time. We hope that young Cambodian people with high aspirations will join our company and play an active role in construction management. In addition, it would be our greatest pleasure if that young man returns to his home country in the future and becomes a leader of the Cambodian construction industry based on the construction technology and safety culture he has learned at our company. And we're sure that there will be others who will follow in his footsteps.

We are planning to establish a local subsidiary by the middle of 2024 and recruit Cambodian university graduates or technical school graduates for training in Cambodia for about one and a half years. After the training, they will be transferred to the head office in Tokyo to take charge of construction management.
After working in Tokyo for 10-15 years, those who wish to return to their home country and are ambitious and capable will be considered for promotion to a senior executive position at our local subsidiary, or we will consider supporting them in starting their own business by investing in the company. During the training period, you will be treated differently because it is a trial period, but after transferring to Tokyo, you will be treated exactly the same as our Japanese employees.

We will be very happy if the launch of this project is appropriate for the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Cambodia and Japan.
